Two aspiring actresses arrive in Hollywood and, through a series of mix-ups and mistaken identities, find themselves navigating studio politics, celebrity encounters, and comic mishaps inside the Paramount dream factory.
Also starring Dennis Morgan, Jack Carson, Doris Day, and dozens of cameo appearances by Paramount contract stars including Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Barbara Stanwyck, Alan Ladd, and others.
This self-referential Hollywood musical comedy playfully spoofs the studio system and celebrity culture of the era. It features a five-minute Technicolor Puppetoon segment, Romeow and Julicat, created by Academy Award-winning animator George Pal.
